We’re so excited to have Lolly from LollyChops here today! The best part is that you’re ALL going to get a fun freebie- yes, all of you! Lolly entered the blogging world only a short time ago and already has a huge following. It’s not surprising though, with all of the amazing things she creates over there. One of my favorite things she does is make great tags, labels, cards, etc. All formatted for printing at home. Earlier this week she did these fantastic hot chocolate packs that I’m totally in love with. See what I mean? Amazing. I’m a little crazy about presentation when I’m packaging food, and having a cute tag attached is at the top of my list. So when I discovered Lolly, I knew she’d be our girl! She graciously agreed to create something just for us and we love how it turned out!

First, here’s a little interview so you can get to know her better.

How long have you had you had your blog? Tell everyone what they can find there::

I started my blog in in August of 2008 (it’s kinda hard to believe it’s only been four months). I started it to share my wide variety of craft projects with my family and friends and it just kinda grew from there. I basically move from craft to craft (I cannot stick to any one thing for more than one project at a time).. it’s a curse and a blessing all at the same time. I am not even sure I can summarize exactly what’s on my blog.. it’s a hodge podge of everything crafty. I make jewlery, throw pottery (I have not even shown that one to anyone yet).. I have a kiln, I do crazy paper craft downloads and am trying my hand at fabric design right now (waiting for my first batch of stuff to come back from SpoonFlower). I have a guest every Sunday who shares a recipe with my readers (thanks for being my guest last weekend Sara!!!).

You seem to have talent spewing out of your ears- which do you enjoy the most: Sewing, Photo-shopping, card-making, Jewelry design??

I had better get my ears cleaned then! That sounds pretty crazy! I would have to say my favorite is sewingphotoshoppingcardmakingcookingjewelrydesignandpapercrafts! Whew.. longest word. Ever.

Tell us something we’d be surprised to learn about you.

RonChops and I do not have a TV. We gave it up 3 years ago and have never looked back. It’s the greatest thing ever. I highly suggest folks give it a try. You can get your news from the internet and friends call you when tornados are headed for your house (yep… our house got hit by a tornado a few years ago and lots of folks called).

What’s your favorite color combination? Do you find yourself gravitating toward it over and over?

Wow.. you are asking the tough questions here. My fav colors are orange and green. But I am really in a teal mood these days. So I am using LOADS of teal in my projects (in pretty much all of my projects actually…).

What are you hoping Santa brings you this year?

A Wacom tablet (for drawing in Illustrator), a Slice (for paper cutting) and a score-it paper scoring thingy.

I’ve been dying to ask this one…Is your name really Lolly?

Yep.. crazy right?!

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Since we’ve been talking all month about giving goodies away, we thought it was only fitting to have some awesome tags to tie them up with! So Lolly created these fantastic little beauties. I
love them! All you have to do is print them out on heavy card stock, cut them out, and use a cute ribbon to attach to your homemade creations. Click on the links below to download and then head over to LollyChops for complete instructions and cute ideas on how to use them.

And guess what? That’s not all! This was a total surprise to me. Lolly didn’t only create the cute tags, but she went above and beyond and made matching jar-toppers to go with them! Now my mind is going crazy thinking of all of the cute things I can put in jars… Check these out:

You’ll notice there are 2 sets of tags. It has something to do with Lolly’s fancy-schmancy circle puncher thingy. Go over to LollyChops and she explains everything better than I can!

You’re welcome around here any time :)

Now all you readers…

ooh–love these! How super cute! I’ll probably attach them to some home made pralines and/or toffee, depending how much time I get in the kitchen this next week. I have always made almond toffee, but am feeling a bit nuttier (no pun intended) this year–hence the praline fantasies.
