Holiday Neighbor Gifts

I could write a post a mile long linking the entire Holiday collection from our recipe index here, but instead I’m just going to highlight a few of my favorite ideas for neighbor gifts this season.  These are some of our most popular printables, cookies, snack mixes, and candies.  If you have our cook book, Savoring the Seasons with Our Best Bites, there are some really awesome holiday treats in there that you won’t find here on the blog, so be sure to check it out!  I’m also going to spare you my awesome commentary, and just let you click around.  All of these photos are linked (or should be) to the post, so just click on a photo to see the entire tutorial or recipe and pin them so you don’t forget!

Questions & Reviews

  1. I love the socks. My feet always get cold in the evenings. I’m asking for a new heating pad this year. Super exciting I know!

  2. My sister was just asking me what she should get her employees… these are all really good options!

  3. I really would like to make the peppermint cookies, the fudge and the White Choc popcorn…. I hope you fix the site soon….thanks…
I have made the bags with polish, candy, and socks… everyone Loved them… I might make some more this year….

  4. Select Click to our recipe index (written in blue at the bottom of the post) and it gives you the recipes to choose from. Am going to try a LOT of these yummies 🙂

  5. gorgeous photos and great ideas as always! I have an even better neighbor gift idea though 🙂 I got so sick of 15 plates of inedible goodies (you know you get them too!) and nonsense like dollar store tape and pot holders that we now do a neighborhood food drive. We door hang our neighborhood and tell everyone to spend the $ they would have spent on gifts and make a purchase for the food bank. We meet at a local spot (we happen to have a church pavillion in the center of our neighborhood) and set up fire pits and hot chocolate. On the designated night, everyone comes out and spends a few minutes together and donates their goods. We then stack a truck and trailer high and take it to the food bank. It’s been hugely popular and everyone appreciate the fact that it’s low stress and helps others who need food more than we do 🙂

    1. What a GREAT idea! I live in a fairly large complex of 325 condo units and this sounds like a great community event!

  6. Thank you so much for publishing a post specifically for neighbor gifts. I have a baby due any day now and my brain is fried, so it was such a nice treat to see this post this morning and realize that I don’t have to think too hard this year about what I’m going to do for neighbor gifts. Thanks again!

  7. The post is beautiful, and the recipes look great. I’m looking forward to when they’re clickable! Thanks 🙂

  8. Yep, same issue here. Thanks for the great ideas, though! Merry Christmas to both of you, and your families!

  9. I’m having the same issue as Bonnie–clicking takes me to the photo but no link…can you fix this? I’m too lazy to search each one. It’s Friday…typing in the index is exhausting. Thanks!

  10. First comment! Woo-hoo!
Maybe I’m just dumb, but they aren’t linked to the recipe. It just opens the photo, gorgeous by the way, but no recipe link :0( I really want to make those lemon ginger cookies!
